Review of TCO from author Tanya Coad:

“What a delight it was to be pulled into this hidden world I previously knew nothing about! Who knew street art could breed so much of intrigue, subterfuge, and creative conflict? I love learning new things from a book, and, for me, TCO delivered that in spades. I found it a fun and informative trek into entirely fresh territory. Also, it was cool tagging along with Len and his friends as they navigated their personal, and combined, journeys through the rapidly-evolving, post-2000 London art scene.

When it comes to graphic art and street art, your expertise and research in these areas really shines through, lending an extra level of credibility to your story and its characters. For example, I like how thoughtfully you explain the mechanics of how the dreamteam executes each of their covert operations. Like on p. 62, when they survey the area selected to be painted before hand, and on p. 160-161, where you give us a step-by-step description of the operation. Loads of cool detail and tension, as well. Whether any of those bits are true or not doesn’t matter because you convinced me you’ve been there and done that.

Including the graphics was a wonderful idea as they convey complex, clever, often witty concepts in a clear, fun, and colorful way. Wow—the amount of work you must have put into them, not to mention the oodles of conceptual graphics you describe, but don’t show.”
